We are located between Uxbridge and Sunderland on a quiet road just one hour northeast of Toronto. Our new country home is situated on 10 acres overlooking farmlands, fields and forest.

Our property ends at the Beaver River conservation wetlands. It is a haven for many varieties of birds and animals, like beavers, they prove there still at work!

Art & workshops! Education sustainable farming!

Hungry? We offer catering for bike tours or groups. It can be as simple as a paper bag lunch "to-go" or have us prepare a farm fresh lunch including cheese from a local artisan to enjoy around our gardens and watching the animals roam freely on the pastures.

We look forward to serving you!

  • Ottawa Valley & Renfrew County
    Ottawa Valley & Renfrew County

The Ottawa Valley has a number of rivers and valleys interconnected throughout Renfrew County. Criss-crossing the Ottawa River, Bonnechere and Madawaska Rivers, and skirting many lakes, the area has a number of mapped road riding routes. These routes include many options for stops at interesting heritage sites, artists' studios, swimming areas and communities while cycling quiet country roads and enjoying spectacularly scenic forested and often hilly landscape.

Across the County there are numerous rugged mountain biking trails to challenge oneself, with many of the snowmobile trails converting to multi-use trail systems beyond the winter season. Cyclists can also enjoy off-road recreational riding along abandoned railway beds that include the K&P Trail.

The powerful and lengthy Ottawa River has a rich history of both First Nations and early settlers. With tributaries flowing in from Algonquin Park, Quebec on the eastern river bed, and the city of Ottawa not far south, it is easy to get to the many cycling and outdoor adventures nearby.

    County of Brant

The County of Brant has cycling experiences that attract all kinds of cyclists. Much of the region's rail heritage has been converted into an extensive trail network that is also part of the Trans Canada Trail. Mapped routes along quieter rural roads draw experienced riders out across the County and through scenic natural landscapes and farmlands; connecting inviting towns and villages along the way.

    Haldimand & Norfolk

Haldimand and Norfolk Counties offer cyclists numerous appealing on-road cycling routes and off-road trails, whether along the north shore of Lake Erie, following the Grand River or through agricultural communities into quiet countryside. Cyclists can explore towns and cities en route and enjoy a full range of services catering to visitors year round.

The opening of the Lake Erie Waterfront Trail and Erie Coastal Stewardship Eco Trail in 2013 links the region to the existing Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail. The route follows the shoreline passing many beach and naturalized areas, local attractions, and well placed towns enroute.

An off road trail north from Port Dover, makes for a pleasant ride and is also an easy way to connect to Brantford and VIA Rail Bike Train options. Forest trails also offer mountain bikers a reason to journey to the region. Known for local foods, no cyclist will go hungry or thirsty pairing a cycling experience with culinary adventure in Norfolk and Haldimand Counties.
