Rail Yard Wake Park opened in 2013 headed up by Ian, Ross and Christine, long-time residents of East Gwillimbury and local business people who have a passion for water sports. Our belief is that everyone should have access to participate in board sports. You can learn, practice and improve your skills on either one of our 2 Sesitec System 2.0 straight-line cables. The beauty of having two cables is less wait times and plenty of water features for all levels. (We recommend calling ahead to book your time). The cable system provides a safe, exciting, and inexpensive way to get more people involved in the board sports community. It also eliminates the need for a boat. The straight-line cable is by far the simplest and easiest way to learn to wakeboard. The upward pull enables effortless starts and has proven to provide the easiest learning curve for beginners with the assistance of our certified instructors. It also allows for more experienced riders to practice on water features and air tricks. Falling at the park is no big deal. A press of a button and the rider has the handle and is ready to go in no time. Having an operator/instructor along side you allows for one-on-one instruction. The cable is not limited to just wakeboarding. We offer wake skating, wake skiing and knee boarding too. All the equipment needed is available for rent if you don’t have your own.
