This home in the country is where you can relax and get away from the city. Located on a paved county road, where waterslides, ziplines!, caves, hiking and cycling trails (and shopping) are just 10 minutes away.
Everything you need for your country time away...Coffee and tea supplied for you. Full kitchen so you can make your own meals. You have a private entrance to the main floor of this raised ranch home. You will enjoy a full access to living room, dining area, comfortable bedroom with a king size bed (that can be split into twins upon request), a bedroom with 2 twins, a full kitchen with dishwasher, a fire pit, a tire swing, a raised deck, a DVD player with a selection of movies, a piano, even a mailbox right at the house with pick-up service, and fresh eggs if you wish. Internet and cell phone service can be 'iffy' but 10 minutes away in Eganville, there are 2 beautiful locations with free internet.
The artwork on the walls is by artist Margaret Stuart, who lives in a separate apartment downstairs with her 10 year old daughter Jorah who also makes lots of great art and devours books! We do have 2 cats, Cali and Lynx, but you will not see them unless you come to the studio for art time. We do have 3 hens and a rooster wandering about the yard. :) They lay light turquoise eggs.
Art lessons, breakfasts and dinners can be arranged by request at an additional cost. Margaret, your hostess has eaten gluten-free, mostly paleo for about 2 years, so has expertise if you are curious about trying this. Referrals to local farmers markets and organic meat sources also.
Looking forward to hosting your stay in the Ottawa Valley!
